FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) believes in the potential of blockchain technology in a wide range of areas to disrupt existing systems and bring numerous benefits, and therefore is now bringing together government representatives, regulatory and CXO dignitaries in the Blockchain Innovation Summit (11 July, 8.30am — 5.15pm IST) to learn about blockchain technology, its potential and how businesses can best use it.

Kumar will participate in a panel on “What can be replaced by blockchain technology?”: Fellow blockchain experts in the panel moderated by Sreeram Ananthasayanam (Partner, PWC) include Amar Patnaik (IAAS, Principal Accountant General, Govt of West Bengal) and Sameer Dharape (Co-Founder, XINFIN).

Apart from Kumar, speakers include Rajesh Aggarwal, Finance Minister, Govt of Uttar Pradesh; Dr Indu Bhushan IAS, CEO Ayushman Bharath; Sanjiv Mittal IAS, Secretary Finance, Govt of Uttar Pradesh; Ananth Narayan MD, Standard Chartered Bank and Arun Kumar, Chairman and CEO KPMG India, among others.

Established in 1927, FICCI is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation, representing “the voice of India’s business and industry”. Its history is closely interwoven with India’s struggle for independence, its industrialization, and its emergence as one of the most rapidly growing global economies.

FICCI is the largest and oldest business organisation in India and consists of members from the Indian private and public corporate sectors and multinational companies, including diverse regional chambers of commerce and industry across states, with a reach to over 250,000 companies. It provides a platform for networking and consensus building within and across sectors and connects Indian industry, policy makers and the international business community.

We are looking forward to this high-profile event which due to its unmatched reach to businesses all over the country will provide outstanding opportunities to build new relations for Cashaa’s expansion in India.
